Between plains and mountain ranges, the riders will criss-cross 4 countries: Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland and, of course, France. As well as the landscapes of the countries they will cross, the Tour will also offer the opportunity to discover new sites and stage towns, in pictures or live. During the epics in the French Alps, Meg\u00e8ve will be the finish of the 10th stage, on Tuesday 12 July 2022.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Tour de France 2022<\/strong><br \/><strong>The Grand Depart in Denmark<\/strong><\/p><p>A country of around 5.8 million inhabitants, Denmark is known as one of the greenest and happiest countries in the world. Cycling plays a key role in this status. In Denmark, cycling is part of everyday life, an integral part of their DNA.<\/p><p>Denmark is the 10th country to host the Grand D\u00e9part, the most northerly in the history of the Grande Boucle. The Grand D\u00e9part of this 2022 edition will also be a special one. The 10th stage of the Tour de France will take place on Tuesday 12 July 2022, between Morzine and Meg\u00e8ve. The town of Meg\u00e8ve will be the finish of the Tour de France for the second time. The Tour made up for an oversight in 2016 by finally arriving in one of the world&#8217;s most famous winter sports resorts. It was Chris Froome, then at the top of his game, who won a 17km time trial from Sallanches.<\/p><p>Lors de cette 10\u00e8me \u00e9tape, les coureurs s\u2019affronteront sur un parcours accident\u00e9 de 148 km, au c\u0153ur d\u2019un d\u00e9cor de montagne \u00e0 couper le souffle. Le trac\u00e9 borde le lac L\u00e9man, passe par le col de Jambaz (1042m) et serpente entre les vall\u00e9es. Apr\u00e8s un passage par Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Combloux et Demi-Quartier, les coureurs entameront l\u2019ascension finale vers l\u2019altiport de Meg\u00e8ve, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 une altitude de 1472m.
